La Carlina Winery is located in the heart of Grinzane Cavour, one of the eleven villages in Barolo. Brother and sister duo – Francesco and Camilla are two young enthusiastic winemakers with a clear vision: to produce fresh, clean and delicious wines respecting the surrounding environment and biodiversity through simple and natural agriculture.
La Carlina produces 40,000 per year: two excellent Favorita, one of which (La Riserva del Fondatore) is fermented in amphora with extended skin contact; a Langhe Nebbiolo, a straight Barbera, a terrific Barbera d’Asti Superiore with opulent fruit and delicate wood aromas and an elegant Barolo from their vineyards in Grinzane Cavour.
