After 15 years as a wine consultant for many wineries across Piedmont, back in 2015, Alessandro Bovio decided to set up his own cantina. Le More Bianche (The White Mulberries) is named after an old tree that sits at the top of his 2.30 hectares of vineyards, which are planted with Barbera and Nebbiolo.
Alessandro’s winemaking skills combined with his meticulous attention to the vineyard and the environment make him one of the most intriguing young winemakers of the Roero region. Volumes produced are small and global demand for Le More Bianche wines is making allocations harder to secure.
